Temporary full-time opportunity to 30 June 2025 Dubbo or location in the Murray Darling Basin area Salary range of $120,859 to $133,183 plus super and leave loading About the Role As the Senior Technical Project Officer, you will manage the research, monitoring, communication and reporting on Basin salinity processes to support the delivery and implementation of NSW obligations under the Basin Salinity Management 2030 strategy (BSM2030). About You To be successful in the role, you will have extensive experience in natural resource management projects requiring complex analytical assessment skills, including working with subject matter experts, senior management and stakeholders to achieve project deadlines to the required standards and within budget, and simultaneously coordinate and deliver multiple and interconnected projects. You have the have the ability to maintain quality and accuracy of advice by integrating information and data from multiple sources to convert complex landscape processes into robust recommendations that inform Basin Salinity Management Program outcomes. You have the proven ability to contribute to the development of policies, strategies and programs that balance multiple issues with sensitivity to a range of stakeholder interests. Essential requirements Tertiary qualifications in Hydrogeology, Geology, Earth Sciences and/or equivalent experience. Current drivers’ licence and willingness to travel and stay overnight.
