LGC is a 24/7 operation that currently provides all facets of Traffic Management across WA, servicing Traffic Management jobs, road closures, lane closures, contra flows, event management, small and large scale projects and the design of traffic control plans.
We are currently looking for a Senior Traffic Planner to join our team in Bellevue focusing on major clients and projects. This role is responsible for all aspects of Traffic Management planning in accordance with legislation, company specific policies and procedures and relevant standards, for a broad range of clients and environments. As a key liaison with local and state authorities, you will posses working knowledge of submissions and permit applications, with the ability to communicate and consult with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure Traffic Management plans are accurate and include information for each stage or works/events.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, amending, and maintaining high quality traffic control guidance schemes (TGSs/TMPs) in accordance with legislation, company policies, procedures and relevant standards.
- Managing all Permits and any other relevant approvals in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all plans are accurate and completed efficiently and on time, every time.
- Leading the other planners within the department and ensuring targets are met.
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate records for submissions and renewals.
- Developing positive relationships with internal and external clients, councils and regulatory road authorities.
- Implementing plans and communicating to the team to operational requirements.
- Performance management of the planning team, with support from the HR Manager.
- Liaise with the LGC team to communicate operational requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Current AWTM ticket
- Experience in construction of high-quality electronic site-specific drawings using AutoCAD.
- Sound understanding of Traffic Control at Worksites Manual.
- Understanding of permit applications and council approvals.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office and smart phone-based application(s) software.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Works well under pressure.
