The Opportunity?Our Training & Systems Team currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Training Administrator to join Northern Star on an 18-month-maternity-leave-contract. Commencing in the first week of July, and reporting to the Superintendent - Training, this key role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the WHS and training teams and work out of our Subiaco Head Office.Responsibilities of the role include:Provide ongoing administrative support to the WHS & Training Teams.
Review & update of all department documentation and systems.
Facilitate delivery of results on quoted targets.
Work closely with IT staff and vendors to introduce existing system modifications, application updates and any new system or new process implementation and accompanying training required.
Be an advocate and champion the use of new and existing WHS and Training data/systems.
Assist with testing programs, correcting errors, and communicating updates & changes.
Plan, coordinate, and implement approved projects across the business as directed by the Superintendent - Training, as well as manage external training providers.
Assist in the analysis of training requirements across the WHS & Training Systems remit, and work with relevant stakeholders in the development of a training needs analysis matrix.
Ideally hold a recognised qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline, along with a Certificate IV Training & Assessment.
Sound understanding of INX modules and applications across a mining company.
Experience working within a Training or Systems Department, ideally within the Resources Industry.
At least a basic knowledge of safety programs and recognised safety management systems.
Strong computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, along with proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, along with the ability to multitask effectively, in a dynamic & deadline-driven environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative & functional relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders to best achieve department objectives and deliverables.
You are super organised with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to think on your feet and outside the box when required.
You are patient, with the ability to maintain a calm and collected demeanor when dealing with a multifaceted and busy workload.
