Purpose of the role:
As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the organisation's treasury operations. Your role will involve understanding the financing needs of the organisation, monitoring and managing cash flow, managing debt facilities, mitigating financial risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will work closely with internal teams, financial institutions, and external stakeholders to support the organization's financial objectives and maintain financial stability
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Monitor daily cash balances and forecast cash flow requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate risk and credit risk.
- Developing effective relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Support the CFO and Financial Controller in the development of appropriate strategies for management of cash and investments
- Manage the company's debt facilities including involvement in negotiating contractual terms, planning and managing requirements for drawdowns and repayments and managing reporting and compliance obligations.
- Responsible for monthly accounting of related party loans and investments
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards related to treasury operations.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Professional qualification/certification or relevant further education (e.g., CA).
- Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of cash management, risk management, and financial instruments.
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial or professional environment (financial services sector experience highly preferred)
