About the Opportunity- Full-Time Permanent Position
- Based in the Sydney CBD
We are looking for a Treasury and Operations Accountant to join our team. This opportunity will see you managing the liquidity and treasury functions, you will also undertake ad hoc analysis on client investments and portfolios.
Primary responsibility - Liquidity and Treasury
- Undertake a daily liquidity reconiliation process
- Review funding requirements across all accounts
Secondary responsibility - Accounts Administration
- Process and code supplier invoices
- Prepare, code and process sales and purchase invoices in accounting software systems including MYOB and Fundcount
- Prepare electronic cash disbursements and manual payments for invoices and other required payments, including identifying funding requirements
- Prepare electronic bank transfers to meet investment requirements
- Prepare bank transfers to meet client requests
- Assist the Team with settlement of investment transactions (buys, sells and income)
- Process credit card transactions
- Assist with the preparation and processing of year-end and month-end cut off procedures
- Assist with the annual external audit
- 3+ years experience in a similar or related role
- Accounting degree
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective organisational skills
- Time management skills
- Experience in MYOB preferrable, and experience in Docparser, Jira and Fundcount desirable
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning member, financial and employee files
