Join our multidisciplinary team as a Senior Treasury Analyst and play a crucial role in developing fiscally-sound policies that serve the long-term interests of Queenslanders. Collaborate with government agencies and build strong relationships while delivering innovative solutions.In this role, you will:
Provide high level advice, analysis and guidance to Treasury senior management, other agencies and Ministers on GOC-related issues including:
- financial and non-financial performance
- governance
- investment decision-making
- pricing
- regulation,
and
- business development opportunities.Apply commercial and/or relevant policy and governance frameworks in providing advice, ensuring alignment with Government priorities and objectives and supporting the delivery of innovative and workable solutions to minimise risk exposure and maximise opportunities for Queensland.
Build and foster constructive relationships within Treasury, other departments and GOCs to leverage Treasury's influence in the development and provision of policy advice.
Exercise sound judgment, authority and influence to effectively coordinate the management of client requirements and competing work unit priorities.
Assist with GPG's input into the State Budget process, including the Mid-Year Review and preparation of publications and presentations.
Represent Treasury at meetings, committees and interdepartmental working groups.
Prepare reports, Cabinet and Parliamentary material, submissions, briefing notes, presentations, and correspondence.What experience you will bring:

- Experience in providing high quality commercial, strategic and public policy advice.
