The RoleReporting to the Manager, Commercial Services & Treasury, this role will support strategic financial decision making and take full accountability for the Treasury function and cash flows of the whole Corporation including cash flow planning and analysis. This will be achieved through:
- Monthly forecasting and annual budgeting.
- Business Planning encompassing full consolidation of the Melbourne Water Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow statement.
- Daily Management of cash flow and debt requirements incl. Management of policies and procedures and identification and management of financial risks.
- Investment evaluation/ Provide financial and commercial advice with regards to business case development.
- Previous experience with financial modelling in a complex environment, including working knowledge of MS Excel and other enterprise reporting systems.
- Strong analytical skills whilst practising a curious and meticulous approach to detail.
- Clear and professional communication skills including strong financial acumen and report writing skills.
- Tertiary degree in Finance/Commerce/Management/Accountancy.
- CPA/CA qualified.
