What You Can Expect - The Opportunity
The purpose of this position is to support the Commercial Finance team by partnering with the business on Commercial, Controlling and Reporting matters, providing data analytics & reporting and supporting the administration of financial systems.
Responsibilities include:
• Monitor and maintain all system data to ensure integrity
• Assist Commercial Finance Business Partner with the preparation of General Ledger accounts reconciliation and associated reporting
• Assist Commercial Finance Business Partner with the monthly and year end closing process
• Support the Safety Service and rental team with utilisation planning, reporting and optimisation of resources
• Assist Commercial Manager with process improvement projects
• Assist Commercial Team with Periodic Forecast and Budgeting Process
• Maintain, generate standardise weekly/ fortnightly/ monthly performance reports
• Maintenance of reporting systems and dashboards including the Sales and Service Cockpits and assist with the transition into SAC based reporting
• Provide internal control check in maintaining integrity of the financial systems
• Support ad hoc projects and reporting across the Commercial Finance Team.
What are we looking for?
The Ideal candidate for this role will have;
• A tertiary qualification in accounting or similar subject from a recognised University
• Studying towards CA / CPA qualifications
• High level numeracy with attention to detail and accuracy with figures
• Advanced level of computer literacy and Microsoft Excel skills
• Exposure to BI systems – (desirable)
• A Go-getter, positive, and keen to learn attitude.
• Ability to effectively communicate to non-finance staff.
