Our client is a reputable large insurer who are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Underwriter to join their fantastic close knit team of experts.
In this role you will:
- Underwrite a renewal and new business portfolio within Delegated Underwriting Authority and guidelines.
- Provide renewal quotations and reviews based on current pricing and
underwriting guidelines.
- Educate junior Underwriters on product knowledge and guidelines.
- Liaise with Underwriters, Brokers, Risk Engineers, Managers and Technical Specialists to conclude decision making.
- Attend Broker visits and events when required by the business.
- Ensure compliance and systems are updated with correct information accordingly.
- Perform other tasks required by the business.
You will need:
- 5 to 10 years of underwriting experience across all financial lines products such as D&O, PI, PL, Medlab, ITL, Crime and more.
- A positive and genuine atitude towards your role as a Senior Underwriter
- A Leadership mentality
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with different personalities.
