Full-Time Small Animal Veterinary NurseGVC are providing recruitment support to a wonderful Veterinary Hospital that is renowned in the industry for standards of care and for empowering their nurses to be the best they can be. At this clinic, nurses do everything that they are trained to do and are seen as an integral and valuable part of the process of producing the best possible outcome for the patients and their owners.Our client is a 11-Vet clinic across 2 hospitals situated approximately 2km apart, the clinics are resourced with digital x-rays, high-quality ultrasound, doppler blood pressure monitors, laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment & full Idexx in-house lab.All the anaesthetic monitoring equipment is fixed with SpO2, ECG, BP, and ETCO2. Our wonderful client is an ASAVA-accredited hospital of excellence, adhere\ing to the highest surgical standards of care and pride themselves on what they do when nobody is looking. Importantly, the team also like to laugh!The successful applicant will:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Certificate IV Qualified or equivalent
- Highly motivated
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-growing clinical environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work efficiently in day-to-day tasks including inpatient care
- Ability to make our clients and their pets feel comfortable and important
- Ability to assist and train our trainee nurses on a day-to-day basis.
