Tonkin is now seeking suitably experienced candidates to join our Water team and apply their skills in the design and detailing of all aspects of our infrastructure projects.
You will be joining a close-knit team that prides itself on professional, technical and collaborative excellence, while supporting Tonkin’s multidisciplinary approach that ensures our clients receive the best solutions. Joining our team, as an experienced Designer, you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists who collectively develop infrastructure design solutions relating to Water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
About you
Together with your exemplary teamwork, stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills; to be successful in this role you will ideally possess some or all of the following:
- Minimum 5 years experience utilising AutoCAD, 12d & Inventor
- Experience in Plant 3D to assist in attracting treatment type projects
- Interest in generation of visualisation outputs, eg Navisworks, 3dsmax, Infraworks, Unreal
- Experience in Water and Sewerage design, including pipelines, pump stations & treatment plants, general civil site works
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on the production of quality outputs
- Sound understanding of SA Water TS100 requirements
- Work collaboratively with Engineers
- Ability to innovate and update processes to create efficiencies

Job location
This role is based at Tonkin's state-of-the-art head office in Adelaide's CBD. Flexible/work-from-home arrangements may also be possible.
