This role is designed to assist in delivering civil engineering services to concept design team. With primary focus on leading and managing complex projects this role is also focused on fostering ongoing capability and skills building within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage challenging and complex water and wastewater
projects throughout all phases of design.
· Provide mentoring and support for other engineers working
within the a large Utilities concept design team and foster ongoing
capability and skills building within the team.
· Work without supervision, referring up as necessary. In
achieving this you will be responsible for meeting deadlines,
monitoring budgets and controlling expenditure to meet financial
targets in your own area.
· Represent the business at internal and external events and you may be
responsible for designing and delivering events, activities and
projects which impact the business;
· Take responsibility for the performance and development of
others through providing guidance, training, direction and feedback.
It is expected that you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering or similar along with strong demonstrated experience in the water industry within a consulting business environment. Your stakeholder management skills will compliment your technical knowledge of industry legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
