Senior Workforce Planner

THE POSITION

  • Lead and facilitate required training with skills assessment and future planning, for any mobilisations and growth in the Urban business.
  • Work closely with the commercial team for all casual pool cost allocations for each period end.
  • Delivery and on-boarding of standards into existing teams and new business mobilisations.
  • Future planning for growth areas.
  • Liaise with mobilisation manager, bid team and operations to understand and plan for future casual pool requirements.
  • Ensure timely, cost effective and quality delivery of services to operations teams through efficient utilisation of casual pool resources.
  • Responsible for shift filling across casual pools.
  • Implement and review a retention strategy of the casual pool teams.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all relevant stakeholders and internal casual pool teams.
  • Workforce planning and task delegation across the casual pool team.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to casual pool recruitment advisors.
  • Provide forecasting to Casual Pool Recruitment Advisors for future growth areas and recruitment requirements.

 

THE PERSON

  • Previous experience in rostering or scheduling in fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience in hospitality industry is preferred but not required. 
  • Strong scheduling experience is required
  • Client/Stakeholder management
  • Highly developed administration skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to the highest levels of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time effectively with often competing with rapidly changing priorities whilst ensuring quality outcomes.
