We are looking for an experienced trainer to join our team. As a WVA Trainer, you will provide expert occupational violence training and services across the health service. This will include the review and development of appropriate programs for clinical and non-clinical staff and the investigation, review and analysis of occupational violence RiskMan incidents.

About the role
The Senior WVA Trainer will provide specialist occupational violence prevention Maybo® training, risk assessments, training needs analysis and workplace training strategies across West Moreton Health for clinical and non-clinical staff.
This role will manage the provision of timely and effective occupational violence risk management, incident investigation and training services that meet organisational requirements, increase organisational effectiveness, enhance employee skills and capability, and foster a supportive and safe workplace culture.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Sound working knowledge and demonstrated application of occupational violence prevention related legislative standards and guidelines relevant to a large complex organisation.
- Specialised knowledge in effectively engaging with, facilitating, undertaking and communicating risk assessments and training needs analysis specifically relevant to occupational violence.
- Specialised knowledge and experience in occupational violence prevention training program facilitation, scheduling, and related administrative requirements.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, evidenced by the ability to facilitate work groups and networks, work in a multidisciplinary environment, and maintain effective working relationships, as well as sound report writing and time management skills.
- Effective organisational and time management skills, the ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workloads and results focused.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Maybo® Licensed Program trainer certification (or the ability to rapidly acquire this qualification) is required for this role.
- Whilst not mandatory, possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher) is highly desirable.
