Senior Zero Harm Advisor

Join our Zero Harm team in this long-term career development opportunity based in Brisbane. This hands-on role will actively support and ensure on-going compliance with statutory obligations whilst mitigating risk. Downer believes people are our greatest asset. As a Senior Zero Harm Advisor, you will actively support, coach, mentor and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders across a multitude of projects. This dynamic role will have a mix exposure to site-based and office with a focus on bringing people together to ensure we achieve our Safety objectives whilst contributing to the innovation of the business.
What you'll bring
Exposure within the Civil Road Maintenance, Construction, Heavy Industrial or Transport space will be highly regarded. Ideally you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications Occupational Health and Safety advantageous.
• Quality / Safety Lead Internal Auditor (desirable).
• ICAM Lead Incident Investigation (desirable).
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities in a safety context.
• Influential and conversational communication style, utilising a partnering approach to build on learning insights across the business.
• Ability to adapt across complex working environments and engage with multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborative predisposition, appropriately exercising flexibility, and tenaciousness.
• OHS exposure gained within a high-risk industry operating accredited heavy vehicles.
• Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation.
