Hastings Deering have an opportunity for a Service Advisor within our component rebuild section at our Darwin Business Centre. This key role forms part of a dynamic, highly experienced team providing ongoing service and support of rebuilding CAT components to customers across the NT region on a Permanent, Monday to Friday basis.
As a Service Advisor, you will:
Provide exceptional customer service by effective communication on the scope of work, job pricing and timeframes.
Ensure customer/job requirements are accurately captured and communicated to the Service Operational team or external vendors while monitoring, following up and maintaining high attention to detail of job accuracy.
Act as a liaison between the Service Operational Team, customers, customer support representatives and external vendors by engaging in effective communication/reporting on job progress, additional work identified, costs and completion dates.
Facilitate invoice accuracy and prompt payment by ensuring jobs have accurate parts, labour, miscellaneous charges, and work descriptions as per quotations.
Create and maintain records within the company Asset system and WIP reports to ensure all movements of customers and HDAL assets are accurately recorded.
Understand and implement action plans developed by Service Management and strategies designed to achieve monthly financial performance and revenue targets.
Actively participate in team meetings, continuous improvement and safety initiatives

About You

Diesel Fitting Trade Certification or Certification in IV Office/Business Administration or equivalent qualifications or experience is highly desirable
Minimum 5 years previous experience working in a customer service or administration role is highly desirable
Industry experience essential
