SERVICE ADVISOR -ensure an efficient and accurate process for scheduling and organising vehicles for service and/or repairs

You will be working for Western Australia's leading Truck Dealer offering a full array of services to include, New and Used Truck Sales, Servicing and Parts support
Description
- Take ownership of specific service/repairs and become solely responsible for that job from start to finish
- Advise customers on outstanding campaigns if there are any & following up through to completion, giving particular priority to safety recalls.
- Prepare repair orders
- Confirm warranty and service contract coverage by verifying records
- Raise estimates for all works required by costing parts & labour
- Liaise with parts department to ensure adequate is notice given on list of parts required to complete jobs - pre-order as and when required so all items are ready and waiting when vehicle arrives.
- Ensure purchase orders to sub-contractors are raised correctly
- Contact with customer to advise of status of service job and/or repairs
Profile
- Previous Service Advisor experience
- Acute attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to exercise patience with customers
- Technical and/or mechanical knowledge - Desirable
- Good administration/accounts skills
