We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Service Department as a Service Advisor. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the needs of our customers are met and satisfied. This role involves working closely with our frontline service team, workshop staff, and parts department to coordinate service appointments and provide outstanding Customer Service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional Customer Service across all channels, including written, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
- Create customer appointments and book all service, maintenance, and repair work efficiently.
- Monitor vehicle progress throughout the day and provide regular updates to customers.
- Cost repair orders accurately and ensure transparency in pricing for customers.
- Work collaboratively with the service team, workshop staff, and parts department to meet customer needs effectively.
- Quickly build rapport with customers and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and organization in all aspects of the role.
- Work well within a team environment while also being capable of completing tasks autonomously.
- Some Saturday work may be required as part of the role.
- Training will be provided to support your professional development and success in the role.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry (light or heavy vehicles) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong focus on providing exceptional Customer Service and meeting customer needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also capable of completing tasks autonomously.
- Willingness to work some Saturdays as required.
- Training will be provided to support your success in the role.
