Who are you?
You are an enthusiastic person who is handy with tools and passionate for cycling and wheelchair mechanics. You have a positive outlook and strong work ethic. You must be able to think on your feet and keep safety at the forefront of your mind.
You can demonstrate your mechanical/service experience and confidence for working on wheelchairs, handcycles and other Disability Equipment. The physical requirements of the role should come as second nature, allowing you to focus your attention on the task.
Good presentation, people skills, experience with emails, basic computer work and an Australian Drivers License is essential.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Build to order, Service and repair the following equipment:
- Everyday active lightweight wheelchairs
- Competition carbon fibre racing handcycles
- Recreational handcycles
- Competition racing wheelchairs
- Basketball/tennis wheelchairs
- Off road full suspension e-bike handcycles
- Beach mobility wheelchairs
- Wheelchair power assist devices
- Face to face customer service including trials on products
- Contacting suppliers regarding ordering parts and products
- Driving to areas of Queensland
