- Canidates not currently residing in Mackay or surrounding areas will not be considered
- Australian citizenship or an Australian drivers licence and your own car is mandatory for this role.
We seek Casual team members working across a variety of shifts.
What do Service Attendants do?
Service attendants are hospitality-minded specialists that help improve quality of life for village residents living and working away from home:
Working across a range of functions to support operational needs
Housekeeping/Cleaning accommodation rooms aka: “dongas”
Assisting in the Kitchen and Dining Room service areas
Mine Site Cleaning of Offices, Crib rooms and Ablution Blocks
Providing customer service in the Tavern or Retail shop
Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and grounds
What does it take to work DIDO?
These are local DIDO opportunities.
Ability to work up to 10-12-hour shifts, day or night shifts as required
Ability to endure remote environment in extreme heat or weather conditions
Ability to multi-task and assist in other areas with positive teamwork approach
Ability to understand the requirements of safe work and safety protocols
Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing
Australian working rights are essential
