NWRH is growing quickly and is on the lookout for a Service Coordinator to join the team in Mount Isa. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide an efficient, accurate and reliable administrative and coordination service for the Mount Isa operations.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Coordinating client appointments in line with Clinician's availability;
Providing reception services, including handling telephone inquiries from clients;
Entering records of client contact in the electronic client management system and where relevant recording billable time for client communications
Contacting clients to obtain meal orders and processing weekly orders to sub-contractors
Preparing purchase orders
Maintaining office equipment as needed, excluding computers; and
Maintaining an efficient and up-to-date filing system
Please note - the above is an example of your responsibilities, rather than a complete list. We're seeking someone who is flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar Office administration/ coordination role. You'll need excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
You will be the first contact for clients accessing NWRH services, so will need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. You'll be responsive when answering client queries over the phone and be able to problem solve when needed.
To be considered you must be vaccinated against COVID-19 (minimum 2 doses) as well as hold a current driver's license.
Ideally you will have experience working in the health industry (for example you may have been an Office Manager or Practice Manager for a GP or Dental practice). Candidates with experience working or volunteering in the community sector will be highly regarded, though this is not essential.
