This position is a full-time opportunity for 76 hrs. a fortnight based out of our Maryborough office. It will require on-call responsibilities.

Salary for this role is based on the Social, Community, Homes Care, and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Social and Community Services Worker, Level 5, Pay point 1.
Skills and experience
The Service Coordinator will bring with them an understanding of the NDIS, as well as significant experience providing supports and services to people with a disability. A relevant Tertiary qualification is strongly desirable.
High support needs skills are strongly desired, such as manual handling, medication assistance, enteral feeding, and adaptive communication.
Experience in managing a team and 1 year’s demonstrated experience in managing service delivery with disability services is also vital for success in this role.
The successful applicant will have or be willing and able to obtain:
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
- Current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and a positive fun attitude
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and listening
- Competent in using technology - Smart Phone and Apps
- Availability to attend mandatory, paid training programs.
The successful applicant must:
- Demonstrate a positive, fun attitude;
- Show initiative and compassion for the wider community;
- Exhibit an ability to problem solve with individuals and follow policies and procedures at all times;
- Demonstrate an understanding of incident reporting, quality documentation, complaints handling, and restrictive practices;
- Be willing to work closely with families, advocates, professionals, volunteers, and therapy staff;
- Possess a Queensland Drivers License
