Adelaide Independent Bandag is a family owned business, operating in the Retail Tyre Servicing Sector for over 20 years. As one of the largest independent tyre retailers in Adelaide, with a network of over 12 road-service vehicles and an in-house retreading facility, Adelaide Independent Bandag provide customers with exceptional levels of service and solution-based, fit-for-purpose products.
With 25 staff currently employed, and with rapid growth, we are currently looking to expand our team with enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our growing team.
Key responsibilities include
- Following and adhering to WHS directions and procedures
- Organising repairs, replacement and fitting of heavy and light vehicle tyres
- Performing tyre diagnostics (e.g. checking tyre condition and tread depth)
- Scheduling all customer work and writing out service/delivery dockets
- Ensuring purchase orders or payments are received using EFTPOS facilities
- Attending to customer enquiries, phone bookings and walk-ins
- Run toolbox meetings and allocate jobs to tyre technicians
- Advise tyre technicians of work, job times and track efficiency and costing of all jobs
- Receiving calls after-hours to arrange emergency break down work with tyre technician rostered on call
- Open warehouse allowance when getting stock out after-hours
- Proactive in customer follow up and service work
- Preparing order estimates and repair quotes
- Organising and ordering tyres and scheduling delivery of tyres
- Calling customers with service/repair work requests
- Promote a continuous improvement culture
About You;
- Previous wheel & tyre experience essential
- Highly motivated with good time management skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current and valid driver’s licence
- Forklift Licence advantageous
