About Resthaven:
Resthaven was established in 1935 and is one of a select few providers to offer the full range of aged care services. Proudly South Australian, Resthaven is a financially independent, not-for-profit charity associated with the Uniting Church in Australia. Essential Criteria:
- Cert III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in provision of food services in a service organisation
- Ability to work without direct supervision to complete duties and achieve deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
- Ability to review procedures and implement new models of service delivery to satisfy resident and organisational requirements
- Understanding of ageing and ability to relate to older people
- Experience with HACCP implementation and review
- Ability to plan and manage projects including development of timelines, key outcomes and milestones.
- Have a warm, engaging, professional approach to meeting the needs of our clients.
