Service Coordinator

Fenner Dunlop Australia Pty Ltd, part of the Michelin Group of Companies, is the world leader in the manufacture of conveyor belting for mining and industrial applications.  Operating 3 manufacturing sites, 16 Service Branches as well as Engineering Design and Fabrication facilities employing over 1300 employees, we offer a comprehensive range of products and services from the design and supply of complete conveyor solutions through to service, installation maintenance and diagnostics services.

This position is responsible for developing and continuing to provide a high level of customer service with new and existing clients and is FIFO from Perth.
  
What you’ll be doing:

• Coach and mentor site teams to succeed in their roles
• Visit client sites at various locations to establish relationships and gain an understanding of client’s current conveyor systems and service requirements
• Manage several high profile and valuable contracts and accounts
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, develop tender submissions
• Provide input into organisational plans, policies, and procedures
• Promote and monitor OH&S and quality compliance, ensuring each job meets its customer expectations.
• Identify and act on business improvement and development opportunities

About you:

• Proven knowledge of conveyor components – including steel cord splicing techniques, fabric and solid woven
• Experience of job scoping, job planning and quoting – business development / management skills
• Previous experience of leading a team
• Strong written and oral communication – ability to structure, engage and present information clearly
• Knowledge of mining operations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Relevant trade qualification or cert III in polymer processing
• Computer skills – intermediate level of MS Word and MS Excel, and ideally SAP
• Hold Australian work rights
