This position is responsible for developing and continuing to provide a high level of customer service with new and existing clients and is FIFO from Perth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coach and mentor site teams to succeed in their roles
- Visit client sites at various locations to establish relationships and gain an understanding of client’s current conveyor systems and service requirements
- Manage several high profile and valuable contracts and accounts
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, develop tender submissions
- Provide input into organisational plans, policies, and procedures
- Promote and monitor OH&S and quality compliance, ensuring each job meets its customer expectations.
- Identify and act on business improvement and development opportunities
- Proven knowledge of conveyor components – including steel cord splicing techniques, fabric and solid woven
- Experience of job scoping, job planning and quoting – business development / management skills
- Previous experience of leading a team
- Strong written and oral communication – ability to structure, engage and present information clearly
- Knowledge of mining operations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Relevant trade qualification or cert III in polymer processing
- Computer skills – intermediate level of MS Word and MS Excel, and ideally SAP
