About the Role: Join Jigsaw Blue as a Service Delivery Lead, playing a pivotal role in overseeing and managing Service Delivery operations. As a dynamic team member, you'll provide leadership, direct care to our participants, coordinate support, and engage directly with participants, ensuring excellence in every aspect of Service Delivery.
Estimated Hours:
- Full Time (76 hours per week, unless negotiated)
- Admin Hours: 16 hours per fortnight (completed at Jigsaw Blue’s head office)
- Direct Participant Care: 60 hours per fortnight
Direct Reports:
- Assigned Team Leaders, Lead Workers, Youth & Disability Support Workers, Volunteers, Placement Students, Supported Beginnings Staff (if applicable)
- Oversight of 2-3 houses, strategically assigned by the SDM
A Day in Your Role:
Embark on a dynamic journey as a Service Delivery Lead at Jigsaw Blue, where each day brings a mix of leadership, hands-on participant engagement, and strategic responsibilities. Your typical day will involve:
Service Delivery Excellence:
- Managing incident reporting, debriefing, and learning sessions
- Overseeing governance reporting, including risk and workplace injury reports
- Crafting monthly reports, annual reviews, SIL reports, and risk assessments
Staff Management and Rostering:
- Handling recruitment, performance management, and disciplinary meetings
- Conducting Support Worker interviews with our P&C Team
- Drafting fortnightly rosters, handling inquiries, and ensuring seamless staffing
Participant Excellence Onsite:
- Engaging with participants through rostered shifts
- Administering medications, performing cleaning duties, and observing participant behaviour
- Supporting activities of Choice and Control, ensuring safety and well-being
Strategic Project Implementation:
- Collaborating with the Service Delivery Manager on strategic projects
- Contributing to continuous improvement in Service Delivery
Stakeholder Relations and Communication:
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders
- Attending care team meetings and actively participating in family communication
Learning and Development:
- Facilitating learning initiatives and collaborating on staff training programs

To Join the Team, You Will Need:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in Residential/Disability Support Services
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (essential)
- Compassion, empathy, and strong observational skills
- Excellent communication and advocacy abilities
- Capacity to manage workload and make informed decisions
- Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWC, Police Check, First Aid & CPR Certificate, Australian Driver’s license, Fire safety training, Certificate IV in Disability, and/or completed Child, Youth, and Family uplift units
