Your new role
We are seeking a Service Delivery Manager to join our Canberra Defence Support Team. The team supports various applications, including Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications, MS SharePoint, MS Dynamics, and Adobe products (AEM). You will be conduit between client and our team ensuring service levels are met, continuous improvement, being a key adviser and decision maker, responsible for profit and loss, team management and managing and mitigating risks.
Clear and concise communication skills, engagement, negotiation skills, and a commitment to achieving high customer service levels are essential for success in this position.
This role is based in onsite in Canberra, ACT.
Your skills and experience
Demonstrated experience as an SDM (or similar) in a large support contract, bonus if you have direct experience within Defence.
Technically you have good fundamental knowledge of ICT infrastructure and applications (either hands-on experience or education).
You have good communication skills and a customer focussed approach. You are personable and confident can easily change your approach to suit your audience.
An operational and strategic approach being able to identify gaps in strategy, delivery, capability and resolve complex issues.
Due to the nature of the role, you hold a current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) Australian Government security clearance.
