The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Australia’s most loved bakery brands in this challenging Service Desk role. If you’re passionate about delivering fantastic customer service to multiple stakeholders and enjoy resolving both hardware and software issues, then this could be the “roll” you’re looking for!
Based in our Camberwell Support Office and reporting to the Global IT Director, the Service Desk Manager plays an important role in managing our global support team and ensuring that service requests are resolved within the SLA deadlines.
Working in a fast paced and well-regarded team, your responsibilities in this permanent full-time role includes:
- Leading and mentoring a team, to develop their skills and broaden their range of knowledge.
- Ensure technical Service Desk guidelines and procedures are up to date and followed.
- Providing seamless technical support to all customers ensuring regular contact and updates.
- Creating and maintaining Support Services documentation via our online knowledge base.
- Management of major incidents, ensuring coordination of resolving parties and effective communication to stakeholders.
Let’s hear about you!
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Information Systems or similar experience will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in providing 1st and 2nd level technical support.
- Demonstrated experience in managing staff.
- Experience in a Retail setting would be preferred.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow would be advantageous.
- High level of proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues as well as exceptional skills in problem solving and conflict management.
- Previous experience within a retail, hospitality or customer service environment would be advantageous.
It goes without saying you are an excellent communicator, can work within agreed SLA’s, and are comfortable working within a fast paced environment.
