The Position
Reporting to the Service Engineering Manager, this position best suits an experienced, autonomous, outcome focused Commissioning/Project Engineer with experience delivering power systems or electrical projects for utilities. You will play a pivotal role in providing engineering support for Solar and BESS projects, contributing to our clients global mission for sustainability and innovation. The ideal candidate will have had experience or exposure to wind, solar or battery technology in the renewable space.
Your key skills and competencies will include:
- An electrical or power systems engineering qualification is mandatory
- Significant experience in AEMO commissioning requirements for Solar & BESS systems
- Extensive knowledge and experience of evaluating and troubleshooting Control & Electrical issues (including Modbus, TCP, RTU and communication system "Sniffer")
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to interact with clients in a consultative manner.
