About the role
The Service Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management of a customer’s Supported Independent Living residential service. This role provides leadership and mentoring support to the team of Disability Support Workers who are providing support to the individual client. Assuring Documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner by themselves and the support worker team, including but not limited to client support, behaviour management, progress notes, funding, staff rosters and service agreements.
About You
- Experience in provision of various care to people with significant behaviours of concern.
- Experience in providing supervision and direction to staff.
- Knowledge of funding NDIS.
- Knowledge of the person-centered practice and how its implemented.
- Experience in developing and implementing individualized Care and Behaviour Support Plans.
- Experience in coordinating the care with other health professionals.
- Reasonable knowledge of current disability legislation and related issues.
- Knowledge of safe working practices, hazard detection and OH & S reporting procedures.
- Certificate IV in Disability or above.
- Current Level 2 first aid and CPR
- Current driver’s license.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.

$37-$38 per hour+ 11% superannuation
