Our client is committed to reducing stigma and advocating for people most affected by complex Mental Health issues. They are an organisation driven to provide high-quality digital Mental Health services including counselling, peer support, online forums, and art programs to support those with complex needs.

About the role:
The Service Lead is an exciting and newly created role working within the Program, Services and Clinical Governance Team to provide leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team. The role’s main priority is maintaining and enhancing the safety and effectiveness of the organisation’s online forums.

Role responsibilities:
The role will see you working collaboratively with and leading a proactive team across the organisation's Forums and Groups. You will also be involved in:
  • Training frontline staff and third-party providers in moderation techniques and incident resolution within forums, ensuring support is consistent with community guidelines and scope of practice.
  • Identifying and implementing support plans for forum members with high needs and facilitating referrals to other services if necessary, within the unified stepped care service model
  • Regularly monitoring effectiveness of the service, compliance with KPIs and digital Mental Health standards.
  • Providing ongoing mentorship and support on performance as well as best practice approaches for risk management in complex Mental Health.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of support services, including telephone calls, online chat, and email enquiries.
  • Working a mixture of shifts (10am-6pm and 12pm-8pm)
Essential Requirements:
To succeed in the role, you will be a natural communicator with a flair for relationship-building. You will also have:
  • A high level of knowledge and understanding of the needs of clients with complex Mental Health issues, including best practice, quality and risk management.
  • Prior experience in a similar role and a tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, counselling, or relevant field. Experience in the Not-for-Profit space would be highly desirable.
  • Membership with an appropriate professional body (AASW, AHPRA, PACFA, ACA).
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team to successful outcomes, whilst providing support and supervision
  • Confidence in using technology and working within a digital environment, fostering inclusive online communities.
  • Experience in risk management, policy development and ensuring compliance with digital safety and quality standards
  • A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and a current National Police Check, or willingness to complete.
Benefits:
  • Flexible hybrid WFH work arrangements – supported to create your own work-life balance
  • Work alongside a professional and dedicated team all wanting to make a positive difference in our community.
  • For-purpose work supporting a dynamic team with a passionate culture.
  • Additional leave entitlements (Cultural, Ceremonial and Wellbeing) and opportunities for development
  • Competitive remuneration of $92,625-$105,000 + superannuation + NFP salary packaging.
