Service locator

Avdhut Pty Ltd is a privately owned and operated Industrial Services Company . We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Utility Locator to join our team.

The role will involve, but is not limited to the locating of underground services and damage prevention of underground assets.

To be successful in this role you must:

• have a current C class licence as a minimum;
• have a Construction Industry White or Blue Card
• be a DBYD Certified Locator
• have prior experience in AS5488 Classification of Subsurface Utility Information (SUI)
• have prior experience in interpretation of DBYD / ASCON plans
• be Competent in operations of EMF (Electromagnetic Frequency) Locator and GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar)
• be reliable, honest and a team player;
• be safety conscious and have the ability to adhere to Company OHS policies and best practice;
• possess good communications skills;
• have a can-do attitude and enthusiasm.         

A surveying qualification is desirable, but not essential.

This is a long term position for the right person, and is available immediately.
