Girbau Australia is part of Girbau Group, a family owned leading global manufacturer and supplier of commercial and industrial laundry equipment. Our customers include hotels, aged care homes, hospitals, dry cleaners, vended and industrial laundries.
Based out of our Glendenning office, we're currently looking to fill the exciting and dynamic role of Service Manager to manage all aspects of our service delivery including installations, preventative maintenance and reactive field service.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage the day to day running of the service department, ensuring professional levels of service delivery
- Nurture relationships with Girbau customers
- Ensure efficiency and prompt service, achieving budget and profit objectives
- Achieve overall growth of service department
- Effectively manage team of service technicians and service agents
We are seeking a person with the following attributes:
- Diploma in Management/Business/Engineering (or relevant experience) & or
- Electrical trade qualification (or relevant experience)
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of general business concepts with financial awareness
- Demonstrated ability in technical understanding together with strong organizational skills
- Excellent people skills, who can lead, motivate, and manage a team of service technicians to ensure they deliver high-quality, timely service to internal and external customers.
- Practical engineering experience with service management background
- Understanding of WH&S regulations and obligations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
