Ballarat Tractors is about to embark on a major expansion of its Ballarat operations initially focused on moving to temporary facilities before moving to a purpose built dealership in the BWEZ industrial zone. A key focus of this expansion is the desire to significantly grow our current service capability.
About the Role.
Given our expansion plans this is a unique opportunity for the successful applicant to play a major role in shaping the future team and facilities for the new look Ballarat Tractors service dept. As the Service Manager, you will be a strong advocate for our company values, you will be known for executing strategies that deliver great outcomes for our staff and our customers. You will be recognised for nurturing our “can do” culture within the Service Department culture & customer experience. Reporting directly to the State Manager – Fixed Operations, your responsibilities will include:
- Execution of all Service strategies and policies
- Maintaining high levels of Customer Satisfaction with every interaction between the Customer and our Service department.
- Achievement of all Service Department KPIs
- Managing and mentoring all direct reports
- Ensuring that OHS policies are maintained at all times
- Driving efficiencies in all aspects of the Service Department operations
- Ability to prioritise and manage your time efficiently

About you.
- Minimum 3 years service management
- Minimum 10 years industry experience
- Must relate to people from walks of life and background.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
