More than just a Job
In this role you'll drive the day-to-day client engagement through the successful leadership and direction of the Pool & Spa Technicians. You will be a passionate experienced technician ready to lead a team for increased service excellence.
Reporting to the Business Owner, the successful candidate will also require a degree of flexibility with working hours and days to accommodate working as part of a broader team.
Key Tasks
This essential role will take the lead in delivering technical excellence and expertise. You will also be responsible for the servicing scheduling to optimise efficiency
the project scope, providing guidance on the impact of technology on business efficiency while identifying technology risks and requirements. Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement is imperative in the success of this role.
You will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring service technicians maintain all vehicles ensuring they are in good condition, clean and well-stocked.
- Lead the service team, providing continuous support and guidance.
- Demonstrate a high level of client focus and deal with any issues promptly finding a client led solution.
- Onboard and train new technicians, continuously provide mentoring.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, and legislation, ensuring the company’s policies are adhered to.
- Work closely with clients to determine their requirements, provide estimates, and schedule jobs.
- Diagnose issues with pool equipment and provide accurate repair estimates.
Skills and experience
- Proven previous experience as a Pool & Spa Technician - ideally but not essential, have completed the Certificate III Pool & Spa
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and solutions focussed with a can do attitude.
- A strong track record in delivering quality outcomes.
- Proven ability to lead a small team and manage performance.
- Expertise in effectively scheduling work to optimise the schedule and roster.
