The Opportunity
Austral Volkswagen is seeking an ambitious, dedicated and experienced Service Receptionistto join our dynamic Service team.

The Role

Our successful Service Receptionist will have an Owner's Mindset and be responsible for the inbound calls while having an eye for detail when it comes to their administrative tasks.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment in which you will be required to juggle multiple priorities to ensure that customers are always our number one focus.

Key Responsibilities
- Connect with customers at the desk and over the phone, build rapport quickly and act with integrity - always
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience with a high level of professionalism
- Be hungry to learn and humble when mistakes are made - we are human after all
- Use your owner’s mindset to manage your time, prioritise the important tasks and ensure that you meet service deadlines
- Be agile and flexible to change, things move pretty quickly here
- Answer inbound calls for the Service Department promptly
- Make Service Appointments via phone and email
- Prepare repair orders and update customers details, ensuring accuracy of data recording
- Co-ordinate transport for Customers to and from the Dealership
- Liaise with the Workshop/ Parts Department and other front-line staff
- Perform clerical duties as required, scanning, filing, photocopying and general administration
- Other administrative duties as required by the Service Manager to support the Parts and Service Department
