About the role
Sharp Corporation of Australia is currently seeking a Photocopier/Printer Service Technician, based within our Brisbane team. This role is responsible for providing technical services to Sharp’s customer and print equipment base. This involves in-field break-fix incident resolution, preventative maintenance services, and more.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Customer Support Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide post-sales technical support including diagnosis, repair and maintenance of Multi-Function Devices/Printers.
- IT Networking services relating to installation and maintenance of Print Devices and related Software.
- IT connectivity, installation of document scanning applications and device monitoring software.
- Developing customer relationships and becoming the first point of contact for the Company.
- Accurate record keeping of all work completed for each site.
- Stock maintenance and replenishment as required.
- Achieve the minimum performance standards in servicing product, maintaining product and meeting performance standards for number of jobs per day, parts/consumable stock control and customer response time parameters.
- Active participation in continuous development, designed to broaden your technical skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience within a customer/technical support role is preferred, specifically Multi-Function Devices/Printers.
- Field service work experience.
- Good technical aptitude.
- Must have the rights to work in Australia (sponsorship not available)
Skills & Abilities
- Good working knowledge of networks, PC's, software, and operating systems within a print/scan environment.
- Strong Customer Service skills.
- Exceptional communication and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Current Australian Driver’s License
