Service Technician

Permanent Service technician role, Perth based, paying up to $45ph depending on experience

Your new company are a-365-days a year-24/7 world-leading manufacturer who are looking for a Service Technician. 

Your new role 

Working as part of the Service Team, you will attend customer sites to service and maintain our range of refuse machines, sweeper products, vacuum machines and static compaction equipment, ensuring that all issues are identified and repaired to the customer’s satisfaction.

You will also be responsible for attending breakdowns to diagnose and repair faults and issues on customer  equipment.

Providing timely support assistance to our customers, you will ensure customers are kept updated on the progress and resolution of work . Working as part of the Service Team, you will attend customer sites to service and maintain our range of refuse machines, sweeper products, vacuum machines and static Compaction equipment ensuring that all issues are identified and repaired to the Customer’s satisfaction.You will also be responsible for attending breakdowns to diagnose and repair faults and issues on customer  equipment

Complete accurate and timely administrative records of work undertaken
      .·     Service and maintain our range of refuse machines, sweeper products, vacuum tankers and static compaction equipment at customer sites or, as required, in our workshop

·     Attend equipment breakdowns and diagnose and repair faults and issues on customer equipment. 

·     Provide timely support information and assistance to customers regarding progress of works.

Complete accurate and timely administrative records of work undertaken.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Relevant Trade qualification (Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Mechanical Fitter etc)
• Ability to understand schematics both hydraulic and electrical
• Knowledge and experience with electrical/hydraulic/pneumatics
• Experience working on heavy vehicles
• Skills in fault diagnosis and field work
• Advanced welding skills (Mig, Tig, Stick)

Current Driving Licence.·     Relevant Trade qualification (Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Mechanical Fitter etc)
