The opportunity
Continued growth in our company now requires the need for an experienced Service Technician with Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician / Mechanic or Fitter and Turner experience to join our team based in our new facility in Hallam.
This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to work with a dedicated and supportive team. You will be provided with all the required training, support and development so that you can truly own your role.
Key Responsibilities
- All service and maintenance requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with management, customers and team members
- Document all repairs including parts usage
- Partake in the on-call roster with regular overtime
- Strong Work and Health Safety commitment
About you
For this role we are we are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable employee with genuine skills and interest in hydraulic systems, electronic systems, wiring, fault finding, general mechanical knowledge and fabrication. The work is varied and will involve both on-site and in-house servicing.
- Minimum Cert 3 Mechanical trade certificate/qualification with experience in Heavy Vehicle industry
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Good diagnostic ability with welding and fabrication experience beneficial
- Current HR drivers licence desirable
- Attention to detail and customer focus
