About the role

We're seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join the Transurban's ServiceNow platform team, supporting IT and Enterprise Service Management and a broader module set.

You'll join an innovative team who are responsible for the operational maintenance of the ServiceNow platform but they also get involved in continuous improvement through enhancements and integrations.

As our ServiceNow Developer, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Develop and deliver ServiceNow resolutions, fixes and enhancements in response to platform requirements and business demand.
• Ensure appropriate testing for solutions implemented.
• Work collaboratively with the Service Assurance team, 3rd parties and the Transurban business.
• Contribute to delivery of key projects, ensuring target outcomes, quality deliverables and timeframes are met.
• The role may include 24*7 on-call on a rotational basis and the role qualifies for on-call payment and time-off-in-lieu, as per the Transurban policy/guidelines.

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

• Practical experience with design, review, implementation, and support of the ServiceNow product / solution for new and existing modules.
• Understanding of IT Service Management ITSM / Enterprise Service Management and relevant technical principles.
• Experience with the following ServiceNow modules (ITSM Pro, Discovery and Service Mapping, Software Asset Management, Vulnerability Response, Virtual Agent, Now Mobile, Service Portal, )
• ServiceNow certified System Administrator
• ITIL Foundation Certificate
• Integration Experience including REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, JDBC/SQL.
• History of success delivering integration with 3rd party applications using (web services (REST/SOAP), email ingestion, MID, etc).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
