Your new role
Join a dynamic team as a Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) Certified Locator, where your skills in accurately identifying and mapping underground utility services will be crucial. In this role, you will interpret utility maps, DBYD plans, and aerial imagery to ensure precise asset identification. Responsibilities include managing permit requests, creating detailed utility reports, and maintaining equipment reliability. Your proactive nature and meticulous attention to detail will be key in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes safety and efficiency.
What you’ll need to succeed
- DBYD accreditation with proven skills in interpreting DBYD plans
- Solid experience in underground asset location and proficiency in technologies like GPR and Radio Detection
- Understanding of relevant Australian standards and legislation for underground asset location
- Previous experience in the Civil Construction industry is advantageous
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination and obtain a national police clearance
