About The Role:

BKI is seeking Trade Teachers to join our Corrections team at Fulham Correctional Centre.  The key responsibility of this role is to deliver quality vocational education and training in Building and Contruction pre-apprenticehip and conduct competency-based assessment in both theoretical and practical environments in correctional settings.  

As a teacher within our Corrections Education Centre team, you will commit to providing students with skills, knowledge, and job-preparedness, enhancing their job prospects on release.

We are excited about you because you have:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or (TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B) and address Adult language, literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A) or making progress towards this qualification.
  • A Degree, Diploma or Certificate relevant to the academic level and industry experience relevant to Building and Construction Industry.

  • Relevant compliance documents including: Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), current police check, certified right to work documentation
