The RoleAs a
Settlements Officer you will effectively manage the settlement lifecycle for CTP Claims, from the time the claims handlers finalise the negotiations through to claim finalisation.This role is a 6-month secondment opportunity based in Brisbane. This role will operate on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in the office.
What you'll do- Process settlement payments in line with internal and regulatory timeframes
- Prepare, proof and despatch outbound correspondence in support of claim settlement
- Manage the request, follow-up, receipt and dispatch of claim settlement information
- Undertake document disclosure for relevant claim settlement documentation
- Proactively follow-up outstanding actions and finalise the claim
- Perform general administrative tasks for Leader as requested
- Undertake review and audit tasks as directed
- Support the wider Operations Delivery team
What you'll bring- Certificate or other qualifications in administration, business, accounting or finance would be well regarded
- Demonstrated experience in utilising web-based administration systems
- CTP and Personal Injury claims experience highly regarded
- Experience with general insurance products and services
- Experience in a business operations role highly regarded
