The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Water and Wastewater, this role is responsible for the delivery of the Sewering Coastal Villages Project, including the upgrade of the Urunga STP, installation of a sewer reticulation network in Mylestom and Raleigh and the associated rising mains and pump stations and other work as directed.
The ideal candidate will have (tertiary) qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline and demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles for the provision of water supply and sewerage services, relevant experience in civil, electrical or mechanical assets in the water and sewerage industry, and knowledge of project management principles and demonstrated extensive experience overseeing works projects in infrastructure businesses.
To succeed in the role, you will have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships across functions, organisation and community members, and the ability to analyse issues from different perspectives.

Annual salary of $111,651 to $127,316 (plus super)
