About the Role
We are seeking a strong commercially minded Shared Services Finance Manager for our Corporate Shared Services Finance Team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will work with the team to manage day-to-day accounting duties, monthly reporting, and analysis to service the business effectively. This role requires a proactive leader who enjoys managing a small team and various stakeholders across the Group.
Your role will include:
- Overall accountability for the trial balance
- Oversee processing of AP and AR invoices and short term cashflow forecast.
- Managing monthly closing within Group deadlines
- Preparation of budget and forecast workings in collaboration with department heads.
- Calculation of management fees and review of cost allocations
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and Group reporting
- Balance Sheet review and reconciliation of accounts
- Preparation of BAS, ITR, and FBT workings
- Compliance with AASB and relevant Group accounting and internal control policies
- Submission of statutory accounts workings and managing external auditors
- Partnering with multiple stakeholders at various levels across BGC Australia business
- CA or CPA qualified
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate at all levels.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting with the ability to slide and dice data and present meaningful financial information.
- Excellent time management, proven problem solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to details.
- Experience leading a team.
- Experience creating Power Queries and Power BI reports highly regarded.
