The Site SHE will be responsible to develop and lead a strong SHE culture atmosphere to engage and collaborate with the site to continually reduce risks and ensure SHE and Security compliance. The scope of this position cover operations, laboratory and office within the site. The Site SHE must be an experienced technical professional in the safety and/or environment management field, with a success in implementing processes at a manufacturing or operation plant.

Your key responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Ensure every day through a visible "on the floor" presence and support to ensure that the site is managed in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner, by complying with all DSM SHE requirements, best practices and other relevant SHE laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain effective SHE risk and hazard management methods, designs, procedures and programs according to DSM SHE, Security, Quality and Operations requirements. Lead and investigate serious SHE, Security incidents and work-related injuries/illness to identify root causes and corrective/preventive actions, track to closure all identified corrective and preventive actions.
Acts in such a way that the site learns from incidents. Manages the communication within the site learning from incidents received from ANH Regional/Global and dsm-firmenich.Initiate, develop, implement, maintain and improve existing SHE, Security, Quality and Operations programs and procedures that
Assure compliance with current, emerging and/or changing local legislations; and
Support / align with DSM SHE, Security, Quality and Operations requirements.
Develop, monitor and track globally aligned SHE, Security, Quality and Operations Targets and Objectives, coordinate with the involved personnel and provide periodic report to upper management
Makes sure that the SHE, Security, Quality and Operations objectives, -plans and -requirements are communicated and understood on site.
Set-up SHE plan for the site in line with ANH Global and Regional plans.
Leads the annual SHE review of the site.
Manage the MOC process according to the ANH Global and Regional procedure and organization and manage the implementation of SHE, Security, Quality and Operations innovations and improvement. Provide SHE, Security, Quality and Operations technical support to the site management and to customers via sales department on request.
Drive improvement in SHE, Security, Quality and Operations initiatives and establish methodologies for the safe operational management of the site. Develop and deliver site SHE, Security and Operations training programs to reinforce SHE awareness.Conduct regular worksite inspections and implement required corrective actions. Organize and conduct SHE meetings and daily toolbox meetings. Coordinate and perform internal and external SHE, Fire Safety, Environmental and Security, audits, inspections drills and consults external agencies and officials to ensure site compliance to requirements.
Lead the internal audits for SHE, Security, Quality & Operations to identify gaps for improvement to the expected DSM SHE and Operational Requirements. Provide support during external SHE, Security, Quality and Operations audit executed on sites. Provide advice on new and relevant DSM requirements and legal regulation to the management. Track DSM Requirements and regulatory changes as they apply to the site & implement program changes & new programs to accommodate the changes. Manages the site security of the site.

You bring
- Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Process/Biochemical Engineering, or Occupational Safety & Health or any technical disciplines linked to operational activities
- 5 years' experience in Safety & Health and/or Operations Management in either manufacturing, pharmaceutical or process industry
- Good working knowledge of local SHE, Security, Quality and Operations legislation and environmental compliance
- Certificate IV qualified in Work Health & Safety. Preferably working knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and GMP Management.
- Ability to undertake project and design evaluations and understand financial information. Willingness to accept occasional local and regional travel.
