The Position
We are currently seeking a Sheet-Metal Specialist to join our Unicorn Team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating toolboxes, canopies, and other custom fabrications commonly associated with the automotive body building industry.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in product development and improvement. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Trade qualification in Sheet Metal Fabrication or several years of proven trade experience.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets. Experience with the CNC HACO S150 machine is a plus.
- Advanced skills in TIG, MIG, and LASER welding on aluminum and mild steel.
- Knowledge and experience in Laser Cutting, nesting, and Laser welding techniques. (further training provided if required)
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work from existing samples.
- Willingness and ability to contribute to the production of prototypes and continuously improve our existing products.
- Strong time management skills to effectively handle workload and meet production deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work.
- A practical and common-sense approach to problem-solving.
- Possession of a forklift license.
