Thomas Fabrication Pty Ltd has been aroundfor over 10 years in Perth, Western Australia, has some of the newest machines,and the company keeps growing, we are currently seeking qualified Sheet MetalWorker to join our company.

Required duties are outlined below but not limitedto:

·        Studyingblueprints drawings, and customer specifications to determine what, materialsand equipment is required to produce quality products

·        Pick the rightmaterials grade (S/s, aluminum etc) and thickness for the required task

·        Markingmaterial out where required with datum points and lines, using the measuringequipment or templates as required

·        Cutting materialto required shape along marked lines using hand and power shears, and plasmacutters, guillotines, or drills

·        Shaping and formingof cut parts into the required shapes using folding and bending machines,rollers, presses to drawing specifications and tolerances

·        Fabrication& assembling components into final products recording datum measurementswelding, riveting, soldering, or brazing where required

·        Dressing backproducts by polishing, filling, sanding, cleaning and assembled products

·        Where requiredrepair damaged Sheet Metal products and components

·        Additional skills-aircraftor defence industry experience which may require but not limited to advanceddrawing and calculating skills

·        All additionalskills require to meet the role of Sheet Metal Worker
