Permanent full-time position for an experienced Sheet Metal | Permanent Full-time position | Immediate Start

Your New Role:

• Understanding technical and blueprint drawings used to guide measuring, cutting, shaping and joining metal fittings
• Set up and operate a number of machines within the workshop including, drill presses, brakes, shears, lathes and mills
• TIG welding – Although not a lot of welding experience is necessary for the job
• Fabrication of light fittings – cutting, bending and shaping as well as using hand and power tools to finish products
• Grinding and polishing finished products for the desired finish
• Quality assurance
• Ensuring you are working safely to get the work done.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Trade Qualification – Fabrication (desirable but not necessary)
• 3+ years within relevant industry
• Knowledge of fabrication machines such as shears, drill presses etc.
• Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test and medical if required
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
