About You:
Are you a 2nd year Sheet Metal Fabricator Apprentice looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well established and successful business while continuing to learn the trade from highly skilled team members? Join Wittur, the leading manufacturer of elevator components, at our office in Arndell Park. Your expertise will play a vital role in our collaborative efforts to advance the elevator industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside experienced professionals, in production environment gaining hands-on experience in metal fabrication techniques.
- All aspects of Sheet Metal fabrication.
- Work from drawings and fabricate with limited supervision.
- Use of power tools as required.
- Assist machine operators and leading hand when needed.
- Learn programming and operation of machinery.
- Embrace the four-year apprenticeship program with enthusiasm.
- Collaborate within a supportive team environment.
- Contribute to the Manufacturing Industry by applying your passion and dedication.
- Prioritise customer focus, dedicated to delivering WITTUR's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Be passionate about working in the Manufacturing Industry,
- Be committed to completing Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade,
- Be dedicated to the four year Apprenticeship,
- Be reliable,
- Have a high attention to detail,
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work area
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Forklift ticket is highly regarded,
- Have drivers licence or suitable transport due to location of workplace.
